One of the world’s biggest architecture degree shows sees over 500 students present an incredible range of inventive, creative and visual work, from models and drawings to films, multimedia installations and computer fabrications.

Non-Stop Folding Workshop, Temple University, Philadelphia, Usa

Using cardboard of 200×100 cm size, students were asked to experiment with spacial structures, cutting and folding, using only the cardboard.

This is one of the last courses of the school. Being an architect implies choosing, but anyhow, what should be remaining in all is the search for consistency in every way of imagining architecture. So this course was the observation of a process.

The buildings by J.L.Sert, Holyoke Center, Science Center and Peabody Terrace, in Harvard Campus, are the initial material of the project. With the redefinition of these three buildings, we want to propose a new way of understanding the Campus.

The site is Vienna, the building is the Karl Marx Hof by Karl Ehn. This building is developed with a program which is referred to measure. The work starts at the University of Colombia. Photographic information of Barcelona is sent to the students, as well as an exhaustive atlas of the city. The exercise begins inventing Barcelona from this previous documentation.
