Overview

This public area was build to satisfy a series of necessities. While the space is directed to the general public, it especially takes on a ludical and playful tone, inviting especially kids and families to enjoy the square on hot summer days.
Inspired by Cesar Manriques drawings of fishes for children, the topography of the public space was transformed into an imaginary undersea world.
The horizontal plan decorated with algae like trees and fountains shaped like fish eyes that transform into enlightened jellyfish at night create a domestic place to relax, play and disconnect.
the area becomes the new meetingpoint of the residential area. Its various forms and shapes break the regular tone of the neighborhood and open up an intersectional communicative urban space.
