Overview

This family house, built in 1925, consists of a ground floor which used to be a warehouse and is topped by five levels.
The integral rehabilitation of the building included the structural reinforcement, the installation of an elevator, the adaptation of the apartments infrastructure (kitchens and bathrooms) and the rehabilitation of the common areas including the façade facing Fonthonrada Street.
To return to the building its initial glow, the surface was cleaned, repainted, lines were defined and ornamental elements included, which playfully open the clear lines and enter into a communication between the clear white wall and the brick stones. The balconies were reduced slightly, commenting on the original esthetic of the building. Main entrance of the building was removed slightly merging with the new coherent aesthetic of the building
Respecting the historic value of the house, local and sustainable materials were used for the refurbishment in order to give more importance to the original materials of the House.
